‘Hard-earned feat,’ eulogies friends, colleagues poured on the newly-minted scholar and his attainment of highest degree in communication at the Covenant University
The editor; THISDAY on Saturday, Obinna Stanley Chima, has bagged Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the Covenant University.
Platforms Africa reports that Chima, a business journalist who rose to the position of business Editor of the title, bagged the PhD in communication.

His colleague, Sunday Micheal Ogeu, who is the business Editor of Daily Trust newspaper confirmed the news on his Facebook page.
Pouring eulogies on the new scholar, Ogwu wrote; “Your achievement has made us all very proud Dr Obinna Chima
“Congratulations on your hard-earned doctoral degree! May it be a milestone for your future endeavors.”
Other associates of Chima, including the Managing Director of New Telegraph, Ayodele Aminu; immediate past Editor of The Punch, Adedayo Oketola; former business correspondent of Channels TV, Temple Asaju, have also congratulated the new scholar.
While Aminu wrote; ‘congratulations, my brother,’ Oketola said; “Congratulations, newly-minted Dr.,” Asaju added; “Congratulations, my brother. Really glad you pulled through.”
